As we're sure you will appreciate it's vey hard to estimate the cost of a web site without having first analysed your exact requirements. We're sure that's the reason many other web design companies own web sites choose to ignore the subject completely! There are obvious details that will affect the price : how many pages will the site have, will you want customers to buy products on the site and process credit card payments, how often will the site be updated and how often. . . etc Then there are other details that are just as important : how much of the information to go on the site do you have already, how will we promote the site, who will update the site and how often. . . etc These and many other question will need to be answered to define your requirements and to quote you an accurate price to develop and support your web site. As well as the cost of designing, building and publishing a site there are two further areas you must give careful consideration to.
The second one of these is particularly important as many web developers will ignore this. You will only find out how vital it is when you need to have your site updated - with a Morgan Gould Support Agreement there will be no nasty surprises in the future. Designing & Building Your Web Site This is the main one off cost for us to design, create, test & publish your web site. As we highlighted earlier, the cost of this can vary greatly depending on :
Prices start at about £500 (plus any domain and hosting package registration costs) ranging up to many thousands of pounds for a complex dynamic data driven e-commerce site. Hourly / Daily / Weekly Rates For other IT related work, and enhancements to web sites outside of any support agreement you have with Morgan Gould Limited, we would be happy to provide an estimate for any work that you require. From 1st July 2008 our standard rates are as follows :
